How The Selling Process Works

1. Customer Places an Order

From the listing page, the customer selects the quantity of eggs (in dozens) and clicks the 'Buy' button. The customer will enter payment information, but will not be charged until the Seller accepts the order.

2. Seller Accepts the Order

Sellers will get an email notification, and instructed to either accept or reject the order. Sellers can reject ANY order with no consequence, for any reason. Maybe they don't have enough eggs to fill the order, or they do not feel comfortable with the Customer.

3. Seller Shares Pickup Details

Once an order is placed, Sellers can communicate with Customers via the messaging feature on BuyMyEggs.com. Use this messaging feature to share pickup location and instructions.

If this is a new customer with no reviews, Sellers should choose a safe, public location for the first order.

4. Customer Picks Up Their Eggs

The Customer arrives at the pickup location at the agreed-upon time.

5. Customer Marks Order as Complete

The Customer's credit card is charged, and the Seller receives funds within 72 hours. Depending on the payment method, Sellers will receive funds either in their bank account (Stripe) or PayPal.

6. Both Customer and Seller Leave Reviews

Customer Reviews the Seller

How were the eggs? Was the seller easy to work with? Leave a review, so other customers will know what to expect. Sellers rely on good reviews to get more customers for their eggs. Be kind!

Seller Reviews the Customer

Was the Customer easy to work with? Did they follow your instructions on the order pickup? Leave them a review, so other egg sellers know what to expect, and whether the customer is trustworthy.
